Our Recycled and Sustainable Collections

As our customers who have visited us at the markets this year will know, we increasingly are focusing our product ranges on recycled and sustainable materials. These include jewellery made from ostrich eggshell, gold grass and sisal as well as recycled bottle tops, shampoo bottles, cans, can pulls and telephone wire. At World Design, we believe that the transformation of waste materials into beautiful pieces contributes to the creation of a circular economy. 

While often struggling with the reality that the raging wars and destruction going on in the world negate all attempts to create a better one, one has to keep the flame of hope alive. As Arundhati Roy says "Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing."
